Totals:
For the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3 the Union City Fire Department had a total of 41 alarms, including 27 medical, five commercial alarms, two residential alarms, four fires, one grass fire and two motor vehicle accidents. There were 161 alarms in October and the fire department has answered a total of 1,356 alarms so far this year.
