New health care facility opens Posted: Wednesday, November 7, 2012 8:00 pm Christian Family Medicine of Weakley County — a new family practice medical facility — has opened at 105 Highway 431 in Martin. The facility’s parent organization is Christian Family Medicine of Lauderdale County. Employees include family nurse practitioner Angela Cursey, Ashley Morris, Jordan Gunn and chief operating officer Howie Freeman. The focus of Christian Family Medicine is to provide quality healthcare for the entire family in a Christian environment. The facility seeks partnerships with doctors and nurse practitioners who desire to provide quality service in their community. The Martin location was chosen because of Ms. Cursey. “Her commitment to serving her patients and the community in which she lives seems to be a perfect match for Christian Family Medicine,” a spokesman said. “She exemplifies our tagline of ‘Bridging the Gap Between Healthcare and Truly Caring.’” The facility’s primary goal is to meet the needs of each patient. “We strive to make you feel better,” the spokesman said. “We take most commercial insurance, as well as TennCare. Call us today and give us the opportunity to serve you.” Christian Family Medicine of Weakley County is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. The facility may be reached by phone at (731) 281-4760.
