|Fourteen pounds of pot seized in search of home

|A mother and son were arrested Oct. 27 after authorities searched their Trenton home and seized about 14 pounds of marijuana and $14,000 cash.
Janet Pigue, 49, and her son Tristan Sowell, 29, were each charged with possession over 10 pounds and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force.
Three vehicles were also seized by agents of the 27th Drug Task Force, which covers Obion and Weakley counties and led the search. They were following up on an investigation that originated in the 27th district.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the search.
Pique and Sowell were booked at the Gibson County Jail.
They were to be arraigned before Judge Agee in Gibson County General Sessions Court. Published in The WCP 11.6.12
