DSCC hosts guidance counselors

Area guidance counselors learned what is “now playing” at Dyersburg State Community College’s annual fall luncheon recently in the Security Bank Learning Center on the Dyersburg campus.
Andrea Franckowiak, associate professor of English, presented FOCUS: The DSCC First-Year Ex-perience Program.
This five-part, year-long process for new students was put into place this past summer. Counselors were informed of changes in financial aid and new programs offered at the college.
Representatives from Obion County Central, South Fulton, Dyersburg, Dyer County, Lake County, Ripley and Halls high schools and Northview Middle School attended.
