Dorothy Nanney

Dorothy L. Nanney, 92, of Greenfield, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at his residence.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Greenfield with Bro. Brent Arnold and Bro. Mike Medling officiating. Burial was in Brock’s Cemetery in Greenfield.

Kent Gearin, Tony Stout, Trent Johnson, Johnny Dunning, Randy Morris and Kelly Johnson served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Gearin, Scott Stout, Kevin Gearin, Miles Gearin, Tyler Dunning, Conner Warren, Sam Gearin, John Gearin, Austin Johnson and Garrett Johnson.

Mrs. Nanney was born Oct. 7, 1020 in Gleason, daughter of the late Robert and Lena Mae Jones Medling. She worked for Kellwood and was a member of Greenfield Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Danny (Glenda) Nanney of Greenfield; one daughter, Patsy (Gene) Johnson of Greenfield; six grandchildren’ 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
