A local business was broken into over the weekend, according to a report at the Union City Police Department.
A delivery driver called police Sunday about 4:50 a.m. to report the glass door at Little General No. 8, located at 302 West Main St., Union City, had been smashed.
Officers arrived to find the glass broken and the phone lines cut, as well as the bathroom door on the east side of the building damaged.
A review of video from the store revealed two subjects in hooded clothing broke in the door, with one of the subjects then entering the store, going behind the counter and taking the petty cash box.
