Collection drive for the troops

Gold Star Mothers are having a package drive for the troops to go along with Veteran’s Day.
They are conducting a competition between Milan and Westview high schools. Collection boxes will be at Vicki’s and at Styles on Broadway.
The drive end Nov. 10, and on that day there will be collection boxes at the Gazebo in Martin.
Items being collected include pop tarts, peanut butter crackers, Spaghettio’s and Hormel meals, sunflower/pumpkin seeds, powdered drink mixes, hot cocoa mix, granola bars, Power Bars, baby wipes, disposable razors, pocket-size Germ-X, puzzle books and playing cards.
