On Wednesday we began services singing “At the Cross.” Bro. Scott Walker led our opening prayer.  Next we sang “Sweet By and By.” Our last congregational song was “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.” Our youth sang “Trust and Obey.” Bro. Billy asked for prayers and they very many. His bible study was from Matthew 8:16-22, we are all Disciples of Christ. Bro. Jacky Alford led the prayer and dismissed us to our homes.

On Sunday we began our service by singing “The Unclouded Day.” Bro. Robert Pogue read from Ephesians 4:32. Bro. Bobby Doughty led our prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes.

Bro. Bobby Doughty brought our lesson from John 18:15-18, titled “From Failure to Action.” We can overcome our failures if we keep God in our lives. Bro. Bobby Doughty led our closing prayer.

We started the preaching hour singing “Just Over in the Glory Land.” Bro. Billy Garner came for prayer and announcements.

Our church joined with New Hope Baptist Church with “Hayride Through the Bible” at least 100 of us had a wonderful time.

Our Thanksgiving meal will be Nov. 11 after the morning service and all are welcome to come.

Bro. Ryan Doughty led us in singing our next song “Farther Along.” our ushers, Wyatt Walker and Hunter Doughty, came for our offering. Hunter led the prayer and blessed the offering.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Alexis Cashion, Bobby Doughty, Scott, Laura and Adele Fulcher, and then we sang “Happy Anniversary” to Wanda Fagan and Adele Fulcher.

Our youth sang “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” Barbara Castleman sang “No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus.” We love all our special songs.

Bro. Billy Garner brought his message from Job 2:7-13 titled, “You have a special friend in Jesus.” Bro. Scott Stokes led our prayer and blessed the preaching of the word. Our invitational song was “Just As I Am.” Bro. Jim Riley led our closing prayer, until we met again.

That night our first song was “I Will Sing the Wondrous Story” led by Bro. Ryan Doughty. Bro. Bobby Doughty led our opening prayer. Our next song was “The Lily of the Valley.”

Bro. Billy Garner brought his message from Acts 23:24. Bro. Tom Koker blessed the services in prayer. Our song of invitation was “Softly and Tenderly.” Bro. Jacky Alford led our dismissed prayer.
