Market to open

The sixth annual Westover Holiday Arts Market will take place Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the site of the former Westover School at 314 West Florida Ave. in Union City. The Main Street open house will be featured Sunday.
More than a dozen area artists and artisans will be showcasing their talents with items to sell that will make lovely gifts, fascinating holiday decorative pieces and treasured keepsakes.
Among the items available will be original watercolors, acrylics, jewelry, notecards, prints, Christmas ornaments, textile art, photography, copper enameling and fused glass, woodworking, birdhouses, gift tags, freshly baked breads, and handmade wearable art that includes jackets, scarves and other accessories.
The community is invited to attend.
