Today Bro. Roger’s message was taken from 1 Corinthians 1. To nonbelievers, the word of God is foolishness, but to the saved believers, it is the truth and power of God.

Sandra Smith led the music service.

Prayer requests were taken and announcements made.

The church had a Harvest/Halloween party Saturday night. Everyone enjoyed a night full of fun, games and good food, including a few youngsters and adults in costume.

We will have our annual Homecoming the end of November. If weather permits, we will have horses and wagon rides.

Rick King, who has been out with some health issues, was back tonight. He did a great job singing and playing for us. We thank God for answered prayers for him. Ernie and Amy Rollins also accompanied Rick on a couple of songs.

The evening message was from Psalm 40, which gives worship, and thanks to God for our salvation.
