Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service by singing “Gettin’ Ready To Leave This World.”

Edna Johle taught adult Sunday school from John 4:24. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Mason Petty and Kristin Gearin helped lead “Glory Gl;ory” and “He’s a Big God.” Mary led “Come Unto Me” and “When I See the Blood.” In honor of pastor’s appreciation day, Mary sang a special song she wrote for Bro. Bobby and Sis. Faye. Patsy Baker sang “Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Me.” Bro. Lainhart sang “Someday.” Bro. Bobby led “I Saw the Light.”

Sis. Edna presented Bro. Bobby with cash offering from the church.

Prayer requests were made and prayed over.

Bro. Bobby took his message from Job 2:1. We make our friends by being a friend. Job had many riches with a fine family and many cattle and sheep. Satan came to the Lord to try to get the body of Job but the Lord said his faithfulness he will not give you. Job lost all but his life, but he never changed his trust in God. This is a good lesson for today, watch who you believe in, there are many who claim to be saints, but are not what they claim to be. The Lord will never let you down if you believe in Him and his Word.

We dismissed service with a prayer for the wonderful spread of food we enjoyed at our fellowship hall.
