MISS FALL FEST — The Miss Fall Fest pageants, the last scheduled event of the Obion County CornFest celebration, will take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Union City. Admission is $10 per person. Miss Fall Fest Outstanding Teen Aubree Guess will be one of three queens to give up her crown during the event. Other 2011 Fall Fest queens include Miss Fall Fest Leigh Beth Bolton and Miss Fall Fest Teen Princess Sophie Tatum. Miss Fall Fest, which is open to girls ages 18-23 from all across Tennessee, will advance to the Miss Tennessee America Scholarship pageant in Jackson. There is no entry fee for this pageant. The teen pageants are open to girls ages 15-17 and include a $75 entry fee. Both will advance to the Miss Teen Tennessee pageant in Jackson, but only the Miss Tennessee Outstanding Teen will advance beyond that level to national competition in Florida. The Outstanding Teen contestants must perform a talent. Applications are due by Wednesday.
