The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Oct. 29-Nov. 2:
Union City High School
& UC Middle School
Monday, Oct. 29 — Baked chicken nuggets or baked beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed carrots, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 30 — Beef chili and grilled cheese with whole grain bread or turkey hot dog with whole grain bun, baked sweet potato, cole slaw, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 31 — Whole wheat spaghetti and meat sauce or tuna salad with whole grain breadstick, fresh salad cup, steamed broccoli, fresh pear, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Nov. 1 — Beef taco or turkey bologna and cheese with whole grain tortilla, fresh taco salad cup, pinto beans, fresh apple, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Nov. 2 — Cheeseburger with whole grain bun or whole grain corndog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh banana, canned mixed fruit and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: The high school and middle school also offer fresh salad bar options daily.
UC Elementary

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Oct. 29-Nov. 2:
Breakfast
Monday, Oct. 29 — Breakfast burrito or cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Oct. 30 — Strawberry pancakes or whole grain cereal with wheat toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Oct. 31 — Mini cinnamon waffle or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Nov. 1 — Breakfast muffin or whole grain cereal with cinnamon wheat toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Nov. 2 — Sausage with biscuit or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Oct. 29 — Chicken chunks or beef steak patty, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, whole grain roll, fruit bowl and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Oct. 30 — Pepperoni pizza or chicken salad with whole wheat bread, tossed romaine salad, tomatoes, purple hull peas, mandarin oranges and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Oct. 31 — Ravioli or chicken terriyaki dippers, seasoned steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, whole grain roll, fresh apple and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Nov. 1 — Vegetable beef soup with crackers and Smuckers peanut butter and jelly or toasted cheese sandwich, baby carrot sticks with fat-free ranch dressing, fresh grapes and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Nov. 2 — Hot dog with whole grain white hot dog bun or sloppy joe with whole wheat hamburger bun, baked beans, baked potato wedge, fresh banana and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
