Dr. Bill Warner, who has devoted 40 years to the study of Islam, will present a free program, “Dualism and Islam,” exploring the religion that is described as a “religion of peace” but seems to daily spawn act of violence and jihad. The event is planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Union City Civic Auditorium and is sponsored by Obion County Tea Party.
Dr. Warner is a Christian and a Tennessee native who has authored more than a dozen books on Islam. He is also the director of the Center for the Study of Political Islam. His knowledge helps explain the fundamental nature and the true history of the religion and shows how and why a distorted image is being presented today. He has given similar programs to audiences in many surrounding areas and his research is also showcased at politicalislam.com.
The community is encouraged to attend this free event and learn more about one of the most important topics confronting the world today, an organizer said.
