By The Numbers: The Red Devil signal-caller helped SF get off to a great start against Lake County in what was ultimately a 58-27 loss by throwing a pair of touchdown passes as SF jumped out to a 19-6 lead. Garmon completed 8-of-17 passes for 127 yards with no interceptions. While he finished with just 54 yards rushing on 13 carries, he totaled 82 yards on seven of those carries, including a 40-yard scamper. Of his six stops behind the line, one was a 14-yard loss when he ran into referee Jerry Carpenter. He was directly responsible for 10 of his team’s 13 first downs.
Honorable Mention: Josh Floyd, Obion Central, had a 58-yard kickoff return and a 31-yard reception that set up the Rebels’ only touchdown in a 56-6 loss to Covington in District 13AA action at Covington.
