The Obion County Central High School Art Club has started its after-school art lessons for anyone in the grades K through 8. Lessons will be taught by the OCCHS art teachers, assisted by Art Club members in the OCCHS art room (207 and 209) from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Cost, which includes all supplies, is $10 per lesson or $25 per unit of three lessons and is payable when participants come for class. Students may come to any or all classes. To register for classes or for more information, call Suzanne Hill or Glen Marshal at 536-4688 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
OCCHS officials request that students enter and exit through the commons entrance from the main parking lot behind the school.
The remaining 2012-13 art lesson schedule includes pottery Tuesday and Oct. 30; collage/mixed media Nov. 13, 20 and 27; stamps/printmaking Jan. 15, 22 and 29; pottery Feb. 12, 19 and 26 and cartoons March 12, 19 and 26.
