Jennings’ goals
send OC past SF

Brooke Jennings scored twice, once in each half, to give Obion Central a 2-0 win over South Fulton in the final regular season match for both girls’ soccer teams Thursday night at SF.
Jennings scored with two minutes remaining in the first half off a cross from Katie Speed and then put in a corner kick from Whittney Lee with eight minutes to play in the match.
The two teams went back and forth from one side of the field to the other throughout the first half, but then Central controlled play after the intermission.
Taleeah Cross had 26 saves in goal for the Red Devilettes, while Taylor Baker stopped four shots for the Lady Rebels.
Both teams will open the District 13A-AA Tournament at home on Monday, SF playing Ripley and Central entertaining Gibson County. The two matches will begin at 6 p.m.
