The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for its three schools for the week of Oct. 15-19:
Union City High School,
UC Middle School
& UC Elementary
Monday, Oct. 15 — No school; fall break.
Tuesday, Oct. 16 — No school; fall break.
Wednesday, Oct. 17 — Chicken fajita or turkey bologna and cheese with whole grain wrap, fajita vegetables, pinto beans, fresh grapes, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 18 — Beef/bean burrito or pork rib patty with whole grain bun, baked sweet potato, California blend vegetables, fresh orange, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Oct. 19 — Cheeseburger with whole grain bun or whole grain corndog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, fresh banana, canned mandarin oranges and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School and Union City Middle School also offer fresh salad bar options daily.

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following breakfast and lunch menus for the week of Oct. 15-19:
Breakfast
Monday, Oct. 15 — Whole grain cinnamon biscuit or cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Oct. 16 — Chicken whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with whole grain cheese toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Oct. 17 — Blueberry maple pancake stick or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Oct. 18 — Breakfast burrito or whole grain cereal with fresh orange wedge and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Oct. 19 — Sausage with whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with whole grain toast and jelly and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every South Fulton Elementary School student.
Lunch
Monday, Oct. 15 — Whole grain pepperoni pizza or tuna sandwich with whole wheat bread, tossed salad with tomatoes, green beans, fresh apple half and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Oct. 16 — Ravioli or chicken dippers, seasoned steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, diced pears and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Oct. 17 — Chicken nuggets or country fried steak, whole grain roll, peas and carrots, mashed potatoes, fruit bowl and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Oct. 18 — Chicken noodle soup with toasted cheese or Smuckers peanut butter and jelly, baby carrot sticks, fat-free ranch dressing, fresh grapes, saltine crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Oct. 19 — Hot dog with whole bun or hamburger with whole wheat bun, baked beans, sweet potato fries, fresh banana and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
