Cindy McAdams seeks Greenfield mayor seat

Cindy McAdams has qualified for the mayoral election for the City of Greenfield.
She is seeking the office of mayor after having served on the city council for four years.
“Having knowledge of ongoing city projects will certainly allow me to be a working mayor from day one,” she said said.
Mrs. McAdams, 57, has been a full-time teacher at Greenfield High School for 35 years. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1977 with a bachelor of science degree in education.
She is married to Johnny McAdams and has lived in Greenfield for 34 years and has two children and three grandchildren.
She is a member of Presbyterian Church and presently serves on the Weakley County Industrial Board and is a member of the Weakley County Prevention Coalition.
The Greenfield mayoral candidate has been a member of the Special Education Tennessee Task Force and was a former president of the Weakley County Education Association. She has also worked diligently on the newly-formed Greenfield Advancement Association for the benefit of the merchants.
Her campaign slogan is “Committee to the Community, Dedicated to Progress” and her campaign motto is “Experience Counts.” Published in THe WCP 10.4.12
