The new fellowship hall at Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City was the setting for a lovely afternoon tea honoring Jina Rankin, bride-elect of Mario Russomanno, both of Atlanta.
Large round tables covered with white cloths and topped with green organza were each decorated with votive candles nestled around delicate vases of white roses. Food was arranged on a beautiful lace draped table backed with lattice, stylishly connecting intertwined white tulle and ivy. A stunning crystal punch bowl was filled with delicious iced pineapple drink and beautiful trays of wedding cake, nuts, fruit, cheese balls and frozen lemon pops were served to guests as the honoree enjoyed opening gifts and visiting with friends.
Miss Rankin was beautiful in a black silk dress and wore a dainty corsage of white roses and ribbons given to her by the hostesses, who presented her with a place setting of her chosen Lenox china. Hosting the tea were the ladies of Bishop Street Church of Christ, including Mandy Bates, Denise Bell, Mary Coleman, Sallie Ferguson, Sharon Garrett, Beverly Gidcumb, Beverly Grady, Kathy Gray, Sheila Haynes, Penny Hepler, Carrie Hopkins, Linda Jackson, Ann Kemp, AIlyson Thompson and Emily Wilson.
The wedding will be held Oct. 13 at Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville.
