The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Oct. 8-12:
Union City High School,
UC Middle School
& UC Elementary
Monday, Oct. 8 — Baked chicken nuggets or baked beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed carrots, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 9 — Beef-a-roni with whole grain roll or pork rib patty with whole grain bun, turnip greens, purple hull peas, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 — Turkey Tetrazinni or tuna salad with whole grain breadstick, fresh salad cup, green beans, fresh pear, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 11 — No school; fall break.
Friday, Oct. 12 — No school; fall break.
Note: The high school and middle school also offer fresh salad bar options daily.

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Oct. 8-12:
Breakfast
Monday, Oct. 8 — No school; fall break.
Tuesday, Oct. 9 — No school; fall break.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 — Whole grain Pop Tarts or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Oct. 11 — Mini cinnamon waffle or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Oct. 12 — Maple pancakes or whole grain cereal with toast and jelly and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Oct. 8 — No school; fall break.
Tuesday, Oct. 9 — No school; fall break.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 — Grilled cheese sandwich or chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat bread, baby carrot sticks, fat-free ranch dressing, purple hull peas, mandarin oranges and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Oct. 11 — Hot dog with whole grain white bun or sloppy joe with whole wheat bun, baked beans, baked potato wedge, fresh grapes and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Oct. 12 — Chicken chunks or beef steak patty, mashed potatoes, spinich salad, cherry tomatoes, fresh banana, whole grain roll and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
