Boys & Girls Club releases 9/11 balloons
Posted: Friday, September 28, 2012 5:00 pm WE WON’T FORGET — In remembrance of 9/11, a few of the teen members and staff of Boys & Girls Club wrote messages on red, white and blue balloons and released them. Those taking part in the remembrance were (back row) teen staff member Aretha Lockridge and (front row, from left) club members Michelle Gary, Shacowa McElrath, Charity Henry, Javonte Polk, Jamari Cawthon, Jamal Bishop, DeCora Alexander, Trevon Mays, Davontay Pirtle, Corneilius Atchison (kneeling), club staff member Quae Macklin and club member Kendall Young. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee serve children ages 6-18 years old every week day afternoon.
