Donald Wayne Sutton, 65, of Tatumville died Sept. 23, 2012, at his residence.
He was an environmental supervisor for the State of Tennessee, where he worked for 40 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. He was also a Mason, a member of Tennessee Environmental Health Association, a former Boy Scout Leader and a former Shriner.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with the Revs. Mike Hickman and Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Wilbanks, Bill Neal, Jimmy Sentell, Terry Petty, Paul Brawley and John Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Conner Franklin, Alan Garner, Bill Pritchett, Charlie James, James Hicks, Don Hollin, Ground Water Protection Group and Roellen Scout Troop 283.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Foust Sutton; his daughter, Cori Beth Sutton of Martin; his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Tracey Sutton of Martin; his brother and sister-in-law, Winston and Cyndi Sutton of Martin; and five grandchildren, Matthew Thomason, Jordan Thomason, Joshua Thomason, Jansen Thomason and Jenna Marie Sutton.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Kyle Sutton; and his parents, Wayne and Lessie (Hatley) Sutton.
