Sarah Frances (Jenkins) Hall Bowers Gardner, 79, of Troy died Sept. 23, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Daymond Duck officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Her grandsons and step-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born April 11, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Ellion and Lillian (Davis) Jenkins. She married Thomas Lee Bowers in 1963. He died Oct. 19, 1993. She married Freddie Gardner Dec. 9, 2000. He survives. She had been an employee of the former Reelfoot Packing Co. in Union City and was a member of Troy United Methodist Church.
She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Pat Hall of Troy; her stepson, Steve Gardner of Union City; two sisters, Dorothy McDaniel of Memphis and Shirley Miller of Troy; four grandchildren and their spouses, Allison and Jon Vallee of Troy, Tammy and Brian Allen and Jake and Mandy Hall, all of Union City, and Bobbi Lee and Chad Frizzell of Clinton, Ky.; two step-grandchildren and the spouse of one, Justin and Marsha Gardner of Smyrna and Matthew Gardner of Lebanon; six great-grandchildren, Jonan Vallee and Jack Vallee, both of Troy, and Alexis Coleman, Brady Coleman, Kaleigh Hall and Jayanna Hall, all of Union City; and two step-great-grandchildren, Abby Frizzell and Levi Frizzell, both of Clinton.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Hall.
