Mrs. Louise DaLee Crockett Maddox, 97, of Martin, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Martin with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

Sandy Truitt, Jon Pritchett, Greg Moore, Clyde Miles, Richard Kelly and Tom Flowers served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were George Pritchett, Buddy Pritchett, Max Pritchett, Dr. Michael Hinds, Bubba Weeks, Dale Bolding and James Fisher.

Mrs. Maddox was born Jan. 26, 1915 in Pontotoc, Miss., daughter of the late Richard M. and Mary Jenkins DaLee. She was the widow of Brooks Crockett and Jim Maddox, a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.

Survivors include one daughter, Janiece (Bob) Peeler of Martin; two grandchildren, Pam Peeler Lester of Martin and Jon C. Peeler of Nashville; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Sonny Crockett; two sisters, Cora Parnell and Daisy Wooten; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
