Donald Wayne Sutton, 65, of Tatumville, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at his residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with Rev. Mike Hickman and Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery with Dyersburg Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) at the funeral home and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Wilbanks, Bill Neal, Jimmy Sentell, Terry Petty, Paul Brawley and John Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Connor Franklin, Alan Garner, Bill Pritchett, Charlie James, James Hicks, Don Hollin, Ground Water Protection Group and Roellen Scout Troop 283.

He was an environmental supervisor for the State of Tennessee, where he worked for 40 years, member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg, a Mason, member of Tennessee Environmental Health Association, a former Boy Scout Leader and a former Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Foust Sutton of Tatumville; a daughter, Cori Beth Sutton of Martin; a son, Mike Sutton and wife, Tracey, of Martin; a brother, Winston Sutton and wife, Cyndi, of Martin; and five grandchildren, Matthew Thomason, Jordan Thomason, Joshua Thomason, Jansen Thomason and Jenna Marie Sutton.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Kyle Sutton; and his parents, Wayne and Lessie Hatley Sutton.
