Scholarship awarded to Dresden student

The Educational & Memorial Foundation of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently awarded scholarships to seven West Tennessee area residents for the 2012-13 academic year.      
The recipients are: Belmont University student Faranah Manjiyani of Henderson,; Bethel University student Rebecca D. Meals of Cedar Grove; Freed-Hardeman University student Eduardo A. Llado of Bethel Springs; Middle Tennessee State University student Kristen L. Pierce of Lexington; Rhodes College student Clay P. Adams of Dresden; Union University student Zachary W. Keymon of Atwood; and Vanderbilt University student Audra M. Crosby of Parsons.
TSCPA awarded a total of $128,625 in scholarships to students attending colleges or universities throughout Tennessee this year. The 121 recipients were chosen from 198 applicants.
Scholarship recipients were selected on the basis of academic achievement, professor recommendation, leadership skills and financial need. For more information, visit www.tscpa.com.
