Russell Jordan

Russell Pearson Jordan, 58, of Moon Lake, Miss., son of Mary Lois Owens and stepson of Leroy Owens of Union City and brother of Dr. Rob Jordan of Union City, was killed Sept. 20, 2012, in a one-car accident near Halls. He was on his way to Union City to take part in a benefit cancer golf tournament being held for him.
The family requests memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice or to the Russell Jordan Benefit Fund, c/o Judy Tarzi, P.O. Box 550, Clarksdale MS 38614. A portion of the money raised by the benefit fund will go to the American Cancer Society and Hometown Walk of Hope.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Miss.
