John Rambo, 92, of Obion died Sept. 20, 2012, at his home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Michael Julian officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Pallbearers will be Brian Rambo, Kevin Scott, Andy Grimes, Eugene Hudgins, Rod Sharp and Mike Revell.
He was born March 8, 1920, in Humphreys County, son of the late Sam and Lillie Agnes (Jones) Rambo. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Elizabeth (Criswell) Rambo, whom he married Aug. 24, 1947; two sons, Jimmie Rambo of Obion and John Douglas Rambo of Texarkana, Ark.; four grandchildren, Leslie Cordell of Texarkana, Kevin Scott of South Fulton, Brian Rambo of Paducah, Ky., and Heather Sharp of Union City; and five great-grandchildren, Macy Davidson and Rayley Rambo, both of Paducah, Owen Sharp and Destiny Sharp, both of Union City, and Hannah Cordell of Texarkana.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
