Glow in the Park 5K run planned

The Martin Parks and Recreation Department will host a Glow in the Park 5K for all ages Oct. 2. Registration is from 7-8 p.m. and race begins at 8.
The 5K will be held at the Martin Recreation Complex, located at 8457 Highway 45E South.
Registration and start line will be at the Rotary picnic pavilion. The entry fee is $12 if registered by Friday, and $15 after Friday. The fee includes a free T-shirt and glow necklace to all pre-registered participants. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in 8 divisions.
Early registration will take place at the Martin Parks and Rec office, located at 109 University St. inside the Martin Municipal Complex, through Friday. Funds will benefit Martin Parks and Rec.
