Van driver needed

Volunteer van drivers are needed to drive the Veterans Administration Obion County van to the VA hospitals in Memphis and Marion, Ill. Drivers do not have to be veterans themselves and no special license is required to drive the five-passenger minivan. Volunteers typically drive twice per month.

Volunteers receive no wages but do receive free meals at the VA hospitals when they drive, according to Obion County’s Veterans Service officer Chuck Ashley.
