Obion County’s Habitat for Humanity organization is constructing a home for Kevin Bing, who is the recipient of a kidney transplant and is disabled. Bing’s new home will be located on the corner of Fifth and Church streets in Union City and all volunteers will be welcome, a spokesman said.
Work will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers, whose efforts are especially important since Bing is not able to do some of the tasks that will be necessary himself, are reminded to bring tape measures and hammers to work on this 42nd Habitat home in Obion County.
