The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Mary Megan Gray and Joseph Benjamin Travis are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey N. Gray of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Joan Gray of Jackson and Florence Fee of Covington.
Miss Gray is a 2003 graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School in Jackson. She is a 2007 graduate of West Tennessee Business College, where she received a diploma in medical assisting.
She is employed at the Child Development Center of First Baptist Church in Jackson.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Travis of Martin. He is the grandson of Virginia Avery of Martin and the late Norman Avery, Bobby Travis of Liberty, Miss. and the late Margaret Parker Travis.  His great-grandparents are the late Catherine and Albert Rucinasky of Chicago, Ill., the late Lallie Mae and Robert Parker of Humboldt, the late Margaret and Clifton Avery of Sharon, and the late Bobby Travis and Laura Travis of Humboldt.
He is a 2004 graduate of Westview High School in Martin. He is a 2008 and 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree and a master of business administration degree.
He is employed by First State Bank of Jackson as a credit analyst.
The couple will exchange vows in October in the Chapel at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson.
