The following cases were disposed of Sept. 10-14 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Finis R. Mobbs — worthless checks (up to $500), dismissed on payment of costs.
• Gloria A. Moffatt — theft of property ($500-$1,000)/facilitation, guilty of a lesser charge of theft of property ($500-$1,000)/attempt.
• Charles Langley Jr. — possession and distribution of an intoxicating liquid by a person under 21/attempt and aggravated assault, bound over to the grand jury.
• Dustin S. Rasberry — two counts of aggravated assault upon an officer, public intoxication and resisting a stop, frisk, halt or arrest, bound over to the grand jury.
• Lori A. Sowell — false reports to officer, bound over to the grand jury.
• Audare D. Lee — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Joey R. Nance — manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a controlled substance/conspiracy, judicial diversion.
• Carlos R. Mendoza — public intoxication and criminal trespassing, deferred.
• Joseph B. Aldridge — misdemeanor implied consent, guilty as charged.
• James R. Barker Jr. — misdemeanor implied consent, guilty as charged.
• Dale H. Bohde — disorderly conduct and public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Frank B. Boykin — violation of protective order, guilty as charged.
• Bobbie Crowell — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, guilty as charged.
• Roy D. Fluty — driving while license revoked, guilty as charged.
• Phillip D. Henson — first offense driving under the influence, guilty as charged.
• Tammy L. Miedl — first offense driving under the influence, guilty as charged.
• William T. Minor Jr. — registration law, insurance violation, child restraint violation and right lane violation, guilty as charged.
• James D. Reynolds — manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, guilty as charged.
• Zachery D. Winters — manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a Schedule II controlled substance/facilitation, guilty as charged.
• Rose M. Witten — financial responsibility law violation, guilty as charged.
• Jency E. Wright — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Billy J. Craig — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000) and aggravated burglary, waived to the grand jury.
• Deundrick Coble — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Benjamin S. Connelly — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Lendon T. Etheridge — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Robin D. Lafferty — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Joseph R. Oneil — wildlife rules and regulations violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Brittany J. Orear — driver to exercise due care, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Celeste L. Owens — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Chelsey M. Roberson — texting while driving, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
