A grand opening was held recently at the new location.
The local dealership is owned by Danny Marbury. Mitch Hobby is the sales manager and Kenneth Capps is the location manager. Also employed at the dealership are Wayne Holt, Grant Gaines, Johnna Porter, David Sutton, Matt Croom, Brad Glass, Scott Smith, Michael Worrell, Glenda Burnham, Roy Franks, Darrell Murray, Jim Bartlett, Steve Ping and Jodie Edwards.
Tennessee Tractor carries a full line of John Deere agricultural and turf equipment, as well as Great Plains, J&M Unverferth, Woods and Valley Irrigation Systems.
The local dealership is open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 7 a.m.-noon on Saturdays. The business operates extended parts and service hours during harvest and planting season.
Tennessee Tractor opened its first John Deere dealership in September 1998 in Alamo. Since then, the company has grown to serve all of West Tennessee, with other dealerships strategically located in Brownsville, Dyersburg, Jackson, Martin, Paris, Ripley, Trenton and, now, in Union City.
“We feel that our success over the past 14 years reflects our commitment to our valued customers, by offering the very best in sales, parts and service,” Marbury said.
The company’s corporate offices are located in Alamo, across from the historic Crockett County Courthouse.
