Two accidents resulting in possible injury have been reported to the Union City Police Department.
Kady Lynn Moore, 16, of 6023 Bone Road, Union City, was charged with failure to keep in proper lane after she hit a parked car on Friday.
Miss Moore told police she was traveling west on Church Street when she “eased over” to allow room for passing vehicles to pass by. She struck a parked 2001 Ford Mustang owned by James Clark of 313 West Church St.
Miss Moore received possible injures but was not transported from the scene.
A cyclist received possible injuries, but refused treatment, Friday after being struck by a vehicle driven by Richard L. Barnes, 54, of 313 Hillcrest Drive in Kenton.
Barnes was pulling out of the First State Bank parking lot on South First Street when he struck Joshua Thomas Skiba, 19, of 142 Harrison Road, Martin.
Barnes said he looked for traffic, but did not see the cyclist, who was traveling southbound in the northbound lane. Barnes was not cited due to Skiba being in the wrong lane, according to a Union City Police Department report.
