SF break-in investigated

A break-in earlier this week at the Doe Valley Golf Course is under investigation by the Obion County Sheriff’s Department.
The break-in is believed to have occured early Thursday, according to Chief Deputy Kent Treece. The golf course is located off Reams Road, south of South Fulton.
Treece said the front glass door to the clubhouse, valued at $500, was broken and entry to the tool shed was gained by breaking a $35 door handle. Taken during the break-in were two Black and Decker electric drills valued at $75 each, two five gallon gas containers valued at $24 each and two Exide 12-volt batteries valued at $100 each.
Anyone with information about the break-in and thefts is asked to contact the local sheriff’s department at 885-5832.
