Completed arrangements are being announced for Wilma “Momma Wilma” Knight, 83, of Union City, who died Sept. 9, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Victory Free Will Baptist Church, with burial following in East View Cemetery.
The Rev. James Jones will officiate and friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 30, 1929, in Henderson, daughter of the late Lois Wilson and Arlest Broyles.
She was the widow of William Henry Knight and was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church in Union City.
She had been employed at the former Obion County General Hospital and had worked for the Union City Board of Education.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven and Linda Knight and Trent Knight, all of Union City, and Elmer and Joyce Phelps of Martin; her daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Danny Bumpus of Union City; her brother, Willie Broyles of Roosevelt, N.Y.; her sister-in-law, Lottie Mae Carruther of Danville, Ill.; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
