The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Sept. 17-21:
Union City High School
& UC Middle School
Monday, Sept. 17 — Baked chicken nuggets or baked beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrot sticks, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Sept. 18 — Spaghetti and meat sauce or tuna salad with whole grain breadstick, steamed broccoli, fresh salad cup, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Sept. 19 — Chicken fajita with whole grain tortilla or turkey bologna and cheese wrap, fajita vegetables, pinto beans, fresh grapes, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Sept. 20 — Beef/bean burrito or pork rib patty with whole grain bun, baked sweet potato, California blend vegetables, fresh orange, pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Sept. 21 — Parent Teacher Conferences.
Note: UCHS and UCMS offer fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Elementary

South Fulton Elementary School has announced the following menus for Sept. 17-21:
Breakfast
Monday, Sept. 17 — Breakfast burrito or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Sept. 18 — Whole grain French toast with syrup or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Sept. 19 — Breakfast bagel or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Sept. 20 — Sausage with whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with whole grain cinnamon toast and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Sept. 21 — Apple cinnamon muffin or whole grain cereal with graham crackers and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, Sept. 17 — Whole grain pizza quesadilla or fish sandwich on whole wheat bun, romaine salad, cherry tomatoes, California blend vegetables, sliced peaches, fresh orange and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Tuesday, Sept. 18 — Grilled cheese or chicken salad on whole wheat bread, carrot sticks, fat-free dressing, purple hull peas, mandarin oranges, fresh grapes and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Wednesday, Sept. 19 — Ravioli or chicken dippers, seasoned broccoli, whole kernel corn, fresh apple half, pear half, whole grain roll and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Thursday, Sept. 20 — Hot dog with whole grain white bun or sloppy joe with wheat bun, baked beans, baked potato wedges, cole slaw, applesauce, watermelon and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
Friday, Sept. 21 — Chicken chunks or beef fingers, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, fruit bowl, whole grain roll and low-fat chocolate milk, white milk or juice.
