Montgomery in concert to help Josh Harpole
Posted: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 8:00 pm
John Michael Montgomery will be in concert Saturday at the Graves County (Ky.) Fairgrounds to benefit Josh Harpole.
Harpole was diagnosed three years ago with Muscular Dystrophy, but has developed skills to help him with daily life. However, at this point, he is unable to walk on his own. Harpole and his family live in a home too small to accomodate a wheelchair. His father, Jason, is a deputy with the Graves County Sheriff’s Department, while his mother, Vanessa, was forced to quit her job to care for him.
Gates open at 1 p.m. with children’s games and food available. There will also be silent and live auction items, a Fireman’s Water Ball, all day tractor show and raffles.
The grandstands will open at 4:30.
General admission is $8 per person, with children 12 and younger admitted free. Children can play games all day for only $5, with children younger than 3 participating for free. VIP tickets are $25 each and meet and greet tickets are $50 each.
The event will be held rain or shine.
