Auxiliary events told

Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 and auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. today for dinner and meetings, which will follow at 8. Auxiliary members are reminded to bring side dishes to complete the meal.
Members of the groups are celebrating the first place prize won at the Obion County Fair for the organization’s booth. Donna Dunn and Pam Crone headed up that effort, according to a spokesman, who said all volunteers deserve special praise.
The post home is located at 3915 North Clover St. in Union City.
