FUMS shoe campaign launched

FUMS shoes has launched a campaign to provide 400 pairs of shoes to West Tennessee children in need.
FUMS, a brand of Doing His Work First Inc., is partnering with Samaritan’s Feet through their PAIR for PAIR™ giving program.
For each set of FUMS shoes sold, Doing His Work First will donate one pair of shoes to an American child in need.
The 400-pair goal for this fall is the first checkpoint on the road to giving 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in the United States.
FUMS branded interchangeable shoes offer a comfortable, versatile footwear option for children, while allowing parents to teach them the importance of helping others. FUMS shoes offers uppers in a variety of colors and styles that can be easily interchanged to radically alter their appearance.
FUMS currently offers a lineup of toddlers’ and women’s shoes.
Mitch Miller, founder of Doing His Work First, expressed the urgency in meeting the goal.
“There’s an immediate need for shoes by children in need. Reaching the 400-pair goal will be a huge step on our journey to help 10,000 children,” he said. “This is a win-win situation for everyone involved because our shoes have the best value on the market. Knowing that your FUMS shoe purchase results in giving a child in need a pair of shoes makes you feel great about it.”
Miller commented on the work with Samaritan’s Feet by adding, “When we give, we give big. At each distribution, 400 or more pairs of shoes are given. We also wash the feet of children before fitting them with their new shoes and tell them about Christ’s love for them.”
FUMS is a faith-based, for-profit shoe company founded in 2010 by Mitch and Lisa Miller of Jackson. Their mission is to spread the love of Christ and be an impetus for inspiring positive change in the lives of others.
For every set of FUMS shoes purchased, they give a pair of shoes to a child in need somewhere in the United States.
Giving away the shoes provides an opportunity to talk to children about how special they are, how important it is to dream big and how much they are loved, in addition to allowing purchasers to teach their children the importance of giving.
