UC council to meet

The Union City city council will meet Tuesday evening at 5:30 in the courtroom of the Union City Municipal Building for a regular monthly meeting.
Items on the regular meeting agenda include:
• consideration of an ordinance on a second and final reading to the Union City Municipal Code pertaining to fire service outside the city limits;
• consideration of bids received for building maintenance and/or improvements from Turf Management;
• consideration of estimates received for Reelfoot Pond Well;
• minutes of the Planning Commission from July 19;
• miscellaneous items.
Visitors will also be recognized for the hearing of grievances and/or complaints.
