Martin’s speed monitor vandalized

A speed monitor was damaged near Harrison Road and the Martin Police Department is looking for more information concerning the person or persons responsible.
According to police, the monitor was damaged sometime between July 27 and July 30 while it was in operation near Harrison Road. According to the officers conducting the investigation, the unit sustained damage to two tires and the power cord had been cut. The cost of damage to the unit is estimated to be $661.
Police are encouraging anyone with information concerning those responsible for the incident to call Crimestoppers anonymously at 1-877-364-TIPZ (8479) or 731-587-2611. If the information leads to the arrest and conviction, one may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
