William Thomas Crouch, 79, of Troy died July 27, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Mallonee and Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenny Lee, Dennis Lee, Mark Veteto, Andrew Weber, Joel Williams and Glenn Rudd.
He was born May 17, 1933, in Ridgely, the son of the late Charlie Jefferson and Flora (Ward) Crouch. He was a truck driver for NCR Trucking and Colonial Rubber and was a Baptist. He was an avid golfer and a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He is survived by a son, Richard Thomas Crouch of Troy; two daughters, Faith Ann Veteto of Leander, Texas, and Louise Hope Williams of Troy; a brother, J.C. Crouch of Ridgely; and three grandchildren, Joel Williams of Troy, Candace Weber of Galveston, Texas, and Tiffany Veteto of Leander.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Jones Crouch, on March 28, 2002; a brother, Charlie Jefferson Crouch Jr.; and a sister, Eva Inez Crouch.
