Huggins a candidate for county school board

Dan Huggins is announcing his candidacy for the Obion County School Board today.
He has lived in Union City for 61⁄2 years.
His wife is Julie Huggins and he has six children, Brittany, Brandi, Brooke, Blake, Beth and London.
He has been a minister for 25 years.
Huggins attended Booneville (Miss.) High School. He also went to Mississippi State University, where he majored in chemical engineering. He attended Magnolia Bible College, where he majored in theology and graduated summa cum laude.
He is a member of the Exchange Street Church of Christ and the Union City Kiwanis Club.
Huggins has been awarded the H.E.A.D.W.A.E. Award and the Chi Epsilon Award.
If elected, Huggins hopes to restore integrity to the school system and to be a voice for teachers and students by being in school each Friday. Published in The Messenger 7.30.12
