The following cases were disposed of July 16-20 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• John C. Wheeler — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Kelly L. Adams — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty of a lesser charge of driving under the influence (first offense).
• Michael W. Kimmons — theft of property ($500-$1,000), guilty of a lesser charge of theft (up to $500).
• David M. Lineberry — theft of property ($500-$1,000), guilty of a lesser chasrge of theft (up to $500).
• Steve K. Pellett — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty of a lesser charge of driving under the influence (first offense).
• Daniel L. Young — Schedule II controlled substance, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Chad M. Piatt — habitual traffic offender, bound over to the grand jury.
• Jimmy L. Whitlow — sexual battery and rape, bound over to the grand jury.
• Ashley L. Thweatt — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Bonnie J. Rodriguez — driving while license suspended (second or subsequent), deferred.
• Kelly L. Adams — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty as charged.
• Raymond J. Howard — leaving the scene of an accident/property damage, guilty as charged.
• Daniel E. Jones — disorderly conduct, guilty as charged.
• David M. Lineberry — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Winston A. Marbry — resisting a stop, arrest or search, guilty as charged.
• Terrence L. Miller — criminal impersonation, guilty as charged.
• Brian R. Moore — simple possession/casual exchange and theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Juan F. Pina — driving under the influence (first offense), guilty as charged.
• Corey Coleman — two counts of theft of property ($500-$1,000), two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of arson, waived to the grand jury.
• Dewey Wright — driving while license suspended, Schedule II controlled substance, evading arrest and tampering with evidence, waived to the grand jury.
• Gary F. Gomes — child restraint (under four), guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• John R. Keeling — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Domitilo S. Luna — driving without a license and financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Donna M. Mills — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• April R. Pannell — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Daniel R. Sanchez — driving without a license and financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
