A local restaurant was the target of an apparent break-in last week and the Martin Police Department is seeking information.
According to an incident report, MPD officers were called to Damron’s Barbecue on Main Street in Martin early Thursday morning after a worker allegedly discovered money missing from the cash register.
Missing was reportedly $100 in $20 bills from the register, according to the report.
The west side door of the local restaurant was open and the door’s chain lock had been damaged.
Pictures of the damage were taken at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

Tips leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect may be worth up to $1,000. Tips will remain anonymous.
