GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL — Students from the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Agricultural Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Martin recently visited the farm of Congressman Stephen Fincher (in green shirt). While Fincher did discuss his activities as a member of Congress, mostly he shared about his passion for farming and agriculture, a spokesman said. Among those attending the event were Dr. Philip Smartt (far right in red shirt), Governor’s School assistant director, and Dr. Joey Mehlhorn (also in red shirt), Governor’s School director, and their children, Elizabeth Mehlhorn of Martin and Stephen and Jonathan Smartt of Dresden.
