Miss Knipper, Johnson united in marriage

Autumn Brooke Knipper and Corey Seth Johnson, both of Union City, were married recently at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Union City, with the Rev. Pat Murdock of Union City performing the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Paula Orr of Hornbeak and Jimmy and Sara Knipper of Henderson. Her grandparents are the late John Robert and Opal Orr of Hornbeak and J.W. Knipper and the late Mary Knipper of Henderson.
The groom is the son of Trent and Dana Johnson of Rives. His grandparents are L.C. Warren and the late Elizabeth Goodman Warren of Trimble, Nancy and Barry Cooper of Union City and Gene and Patsy Johnson of Greenfield.
The elegantly-decorated church sanctuary was the design of Anna McMillin of Union City.
Guests were greeted by registry attendants Kelcie Warren of Trimble, Kim Baker of Memphis and Melanie Cole of Union City, who registered as they entered the church.
They were seated by ushers Chase Starks of Troy and Blake Sowell of Union City.
The bride’s sister, Blake Murphy of South Fulton, served as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Hudson, and Hailey Woodward, both of Union City, Kirby Whitson of Samburg, Allison Craig of Troy and Allie Johnson of Rives.
Allison Murphy of South Fulton served as a junior bridesmaid.
Ella Kate Murphy of South Fulton and Olivia Baker of Memphis were the flower girls.
The groom’s father served as the best man. Groomsmen were Rick Mathis of Chattanooga, Mark Hall of Union City, Hunter Johnson of Rives, Chad Baker of Memphis and Josh Murphy of South Fulton.
A reception was held in the church immediately following the ceremony.
The couple has planned a honeymoon to Alaska this fall to see the Northern Lights.
The newlyweds reside in Union City.
